Fantastic project by @Engagebydesign aiming to generate dialogue across disciplines regarding innovation, sustainability and design.
Futurist Ecology needs to be slow, resilient, transdisciplinary and adaptive. This illustration is based on seven core ecological principles inspired by Fritjof Capra. These principles/values need to be engrained now to be the the norms of the future. Creatives, artists, designers, makers - must visualise these values and use them to guide their work into a sustainable futurescape. We must generate the visions for the future but also take action in the present. The Spiral of Knowing is at the foreground of this illustration as it indicates a path we need to follow towards Ecological Literacy.
